Central College invites Andres Lara, “The Cuban Guy,” to speak

Central College’s office of intercultural life will host motivational speaker Andres Lara, “The Cuban Guy,” to present his story in van Emmerik Studio Monday, April 20, at 5 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

His story began when he left Cuba at age 16. He overcame homelessness and poverty and was a millionaire just 10 years later. Lara has appeared on famous radio shows and featured in countless news papers around the country. He’s currently the CEO of A. Success Training, former president of Inspiration Magazine, and a nationally-known speaker.

Lara is the author of several international-selling books including The Finish Line, How to Stay Motivated During Difficult Times, and Inspire The Sleeping Giant Within, which is published in Korea, Africa and the United States.
