Chris Andersen from WesleyLife hosted members of the Pella Community Foundation and the Marion Community Foundation and shared information about a project in Pella, Transforming Home, being undertaken to meet the need for older adult living consisting of assisted living and skilled nursing and rehabilitation. Six cottages with varying levels of care are expected to open in late 2013. Combined gifts totaling $1 million toward the organization’s $5 million campaign fund were then presented to Anderson by presidents of the two foundations.
