The Tulips Are Standing Tall Despite the Snow!

Pella — By the looks of a tulip, you would think their petals would easliy fall apart. But not Pella's tulips. These tulips have withstood rain and snow, cold winds and temperatures. They stand tall, proud and strong. Determined not to give in.

We encourage our guests and the Pella community to come and support the activities in town. Motor coaches are still arriving with visitors from far away. Vendors are still here and indoor activities are still open despite the snow.

Lunch and dinners are available at our local restaurants, the Memorial Building and Trinity Church, to name a few. Indoor activities include the Pella Opera House, Historical Village and Scholte House. The Memorial Building has various demonstrations going on throughout the day.

This is Tulip Time... in Iowa. Come and see the tulips in snow. Take some snapshots. It truly is an unusual site to see.
