Pella —

As of July 12, 2013, the Whitebreast Beach has reopened for visitor use.

Bacteria sampling at both the Whitebreast and North Overlook beaches at Lake Red Rock showed extremely low bacteria counts. Test results from the main body of the lake continue to show low bacterial counts.

The following recreation areas are closed at this time: South Overlook Boat Ramp and a portion of the Volksweg Trail near Marina Cove. All other Corps of Engineers recreation areas around the lake and below the Red Rock Dam are open at this time.
