Central presents Percussion Extravaganza slated

The percussion ensembles of Central College will combine for a one-night-only Percussion Extravaganza April 26. The concert will feature the Central College Percussion Ensemble and the Flying Pans Steel Band, both under the direction of Stan Dahl.

The percussion program involves almost 40 students on campus, and the Flying Pans is the largest collegiate steel drum ensemble in the Midwest.

The performance will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Douwstra Auditorium, and the event is free and open to the public.
