Central College theatre presents the Fringe Festival


Pella — Friday, April 26

5:10 p.m.—Flyt Trio, Maytag Atrium  – Pepare to be impressed with Dr. Cynthia Doggett’s clarinet and her team of world-class dancers!

6:10 p.m. — “The Producers” and Improv, Weller Atrium –Support young and local talent as Pella High School’s drama club brings some State Speech selections to Central!

7:00 p.m.—Rock-A-Pella, Douwstra Auditorium  – Central’s favorite variety show is here again! Bring your spare change and dollars to vote for your favorite act! Produced and performed by the Central A Cappella Choir. Fundraiser.

8:00 p.m.—Final Fling Concert, Scholte Patio – There’s no better way to spend an hour than with Central CAB and the Final Fling Concert!

9:10 p.m.—Drunk Frat Boy vs. The Zombie Apocalypse, Vermeer Student Lounge – Central alum Eric Bridges writes and directs this hilarious piece about gettin’ drunk and killin’ zombies! This show for audiences of 18 years of age only.

10:10 p.m.—For the Moment, Fire Pit – Wind down your night on a good note with the smooth suave and stylings of Nathan Thiessen, Alan Pfadenhauer and band.

11:10 p.m.—Jesse Beringer and Mitch Stearns, Graham Central Station Patio – Don’t let their good looks fool you. These guys can sing. Don’t miss it!

Saturday, April 27

$$ 11:00a.m.-1:00 p.m.—Final Fling BBQ Around the Pond, feat. Nathan Thiessen, Alan Pfadenhauer, Jesse Beringer and Mitch Stearns. Come fill up on BBQ and take in some top notch music! Lunch free with Central ID, cost for non-students

1:00 p.m.—Boat Races, Pond – CAB brings their boat races back once again! Watch as students try to cobble together functioning rafts and race around the pond!

2:10 p.m.—Anne Petrie and Friends, Weller Atrium  – Soar to new musical heights with impressive soprano Dr. Anne Petrie and her talented ensemble.

3:10 p.m.— “The Producers” and Improv, Graham Central Station – Support young and local talent as Pella High School’s drama club brings some State Speech selections to Central!

4:00 p.m.—Art Hour, Around Campus – Take an hour to check out the submissions in the Maytag Atrium display case and the art that lives all over campus!

5:10 p.m.—Celtic Duet, Vermeer Student Lounge –This Old World harp and recorder duet brings a new beauty to the Vermeer Science Center!

6:10 p.m.—Improv Your Vision, Kruidenier and Geisler Law –  Come support Central’s Improv team as they tickle your funny bone!

7:00 p.m.—Lip Syncs, Douwstra Auditorium –  Back again! Central students lip sync their way through the greatest hits of all time! Brought to you by CAB.

8:10 p.m.—Celtic Duet, Farver Reading Room (Roe Birdcage)  – This Old World harp and recorder duet draws you into a different time.
