Inspirational speaker and author Bryant K. Smith will speak on campus on Feb. 25 in the Cox-Snow Recital Hall.
For more than two decades, Bryant K. Smith has been teaching people to tap into their potential in order to maximize their work, school, athletic or personal experiences for the benefit of themselves, their community, team or organization.
“Bryant is very engaging, entertaining and very knowledgeable about Black History in the United States,” said Brandyn Woodard, director of intercultural life at Central. “The last time he was on campus, after an hour-and-a-half presentation, people were playing games and didn’t want him to be finished with his presentation. He’ll be a great way to close out Black History Month at Central.”
A seasoned college administrator and professor, Smith is an expert at helping people examine issues of difference. Smith had spoken and presented at hundreds of national conferences, universities and corporate events.
Smith will give his presentation at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
