KNOXVILLE — A Knoxville School District employee is on paid administrative leave during a Knoxville Police Department investigation into alleged inappropriate conduct.

The Journal-Express received calls from the public in regard to such rumors. Knoxville Schools Superintendent Randy Flack confirmed that there have been allegations made against a school employee and that individual is on paid administrative leave. The school district is cooperating with the KPD in its investigation.

Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada declined to comment on any investigations until charges are filed. No charges have been filed at this time. Though rumors exist regarding whom the subject of the investigation is, the Journal-Express will not identify anyone until such time charges are filed and the matter becomes public record.
