Fugitive may be in Centerville

CENTERVILLE — Bloomfield Police are searching for a fugitive who may be in the Centerville area. Megan Bix, 24, is facing seven charges after a search warrant was conducted at her residence Oct. 10 by the Bloomfield Police Department.

During the search officers found drug paraphernalia and a white substance consistent with methamphetamine. There were also children present at the home. Bix is facing seven charges including possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, child endangerment, gathering where drugs are used (methamphetamine), tampering with jurors/witnesses, interference with official acts and domestic abuse assault. An arrest warrant is in effect for Bix.

Bix is described as 24 years old, 5 feet 2 inches tall and 235 pounds with hazel eyes. According to law enforcement, Bix has dyed her hair a reddish/pink color. She could possibly be in the Centerville or Ottumwa area.
