Marketing your business is topic for PPBWF’s Nov. 13 meeting
Elaine Sagers, vice president of marketing at Pella Corporation, is the guest speaker at the Pella Professional and Business Women’s Forum (PPBWF) Thursday, Nov. 13, noon-1 p.m. at Central College in Graham Conference Center, room 2. Her topic is “Marketplace Disruption: How to Zig When Others Zag.”
Sagers joined the Pella organization in May 2001 as the vice president of marketing reporting to the senior vice president of sales and marketing.
Prior to joining Pella Corp., Sagers was the senior vice president of marketing for the Disney/Games business unit at Mattel, Inc. During her 10 years at Mattel, Sagers led the turnaround of the preschool business that included the launch of Winnie the Pooh, a $250MM worldwide toy line. Her career also includes a four year stint at Kenner Products, the makers of Play-Doh and six years at L’eggs Products, the leading women’s hosiery manufacturer in the world.
Sagers’ background includes a B.S. in advertising from the University of Illinois, and an MBA from Indiana University with a marketing concentration.
