Pear Upside-Down Cake

Pella — 1/2 cup melted butter

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 tsp cinnamon

2-3 pears, (cored and peeled), cut lengthwise into 1/4-inch-thick slices

1 pkg. yellow cake mix (15.25 or 18.25-oz.)

1. Pour melted butter into a 9-by-13-inch cake pan.

2. Stir in brown sugar, then cinnamon.

3. Arrange pears on butter mixture.

4. Prepare cake mix as directed. Pour batter on top of pears.

5. Bake at 350F for 35 to 45 minuntes or until cake is done.

6. Cool for 10 minutes; invert onto a decorative plate.
