|8 slice||french bread, thin|
|3 Tbsp||butter, softened|
|1||apples, granny smith - peeled, cored, and thinly sliced|
|16 slice||white sharp cheddar|
left over bbq pulled pork
|2||thin sliced red onion rounds|
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place aluminum foil over a baking sheet. Spray generously with Pam. Grate cinnamon and nutmeg in a medium plastic container.
Add sugar and sliced apples. Shake until apple slices are evenly coated.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes until tender.
Warm pulled pork to room temperature in microwave or on stove top.
Assemble your sandwich by spreading pulled pork on bread slice. Top with red onion slices, spiced apple slices and white cheddar.
Spread butter on outside of sandwich. Grill with pork layer closest to the pan until golden. Carefully turn and grill until golden and cheese has melted.
