Apple Dumplings

Pella —

1 large apple, peeled and cut into 8 slices
1 can(s) crescent dinner rolls
1 stick oleo, which is margarine..but butter is way better ;)
1 c sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla
10 oz bottle of sprite

wrap 1 piece of apple in 1 crescent roll. Line in pan about 1/2 inch apart. Next, mix together oleo, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla together. Cook until sugary on med heat. Pour over apple dumplings. Pour sprite down through dumplings, not on top. Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 min.
