Grassley to visit Pella on July 3
Senator Chuck Grassley today said that that he will be holding meetings in 12 counties from June 30 - July 3. The visits are part of Grassley’s annual meetings in each of Iowa’s 99 counties. The Senate will not be in session for a scheduled congressional recess.
“I’ve met with Iowans in every county, every year I’ve represented Iowa in the United States Senate. It’s this exchange of ideas that gives me greater insight directly from Iowans that I can take to Washington with me,” Grassley said. “Holding a meeting in each of our 99 counties gives me the opportunity to have an open and honest dialogue with the people I serve in the U.S. Senate.”
Grassley’s meetings will take him to the counties of Allamakee, Benton, Clayton, Dubuque, Iowa, Johnson, Keokuk, Linn, Mahaska, Marion, Poweshiek, and Tama.
Grassley will hold town hall meetings in Asbury, Brooklyn, Elkader, Pella, Toledo, and Waukon.
He will tour businesses and meet with employees at Coca-Cola Sales Facility and First Federal Credit Union in Cedar Rapids, Honkamp Krueger in Dubuque, Farmer’s Co-op Association in Keota, Agriland FS in Oskaloosa, and Tama Benton Cooperative in Vinton.
In addition, he will speak with the Iowa City Chamber in Coralville, the Iowa City Old Capitol Kiwanis in Iowa City, and the Marengo Rotary in Marengo.
