Little Hawkeye Honor Band Festival

The Little Hawkeye Conference will be holding its annual Honor Band Festival on Monday, February 10, 2014 hosted by Pella Community High School. The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Pella High School Auditorium located at 212 E. University, Pella, Iowa.

The Pella High School Band Department has the following students selected to participate in this festival: Mackenzie Dugger - Flute, Cassie Buma - Flute, Rebecca Schippers - Flute, Lauren Kriegel - Bassoon, Karah Lyons - Clarinet, Taylor Fleener - Clarinet, Trent Schippers - Clarinet, Hannah Emmert - Clarinet, Mandy Nossaman - Alto Sax, Lucia Martisovitsova - Alto Sax, Amber Williams - Baritone Sax, Travis Dingeman - Trumpet, Macy Nossaman - Trumpet, Daniel Thompson - Horn, Kody Beller - Horn, Sara Maakestad - Horn, Brent Van Der Wiel - Trombone, Hannah Cutler - Trombone, James DeYoung - Percussion, and Davis Vande Steeg - Percussion

Members will participate in two honor bands, a Freshman/Sophomore ensemble conducted by Mr. Mark Doerfell, Professor of Music at Grandview University, and a Junior/Senior ensemble conducted by Mrs. Jacquelyn Meunier of Southeast Polk High School.

Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students. Children age 5 and under are free.
