January 19 GEMS hosts We Walk Tour Event
GEMS is sponsoring a morning for mothers and daughters. Author and speaker Sara Lynne Hilton will challenge and encourage girls to recognize that God has created them with a voice and a purpose - not just when they are grown, but right now. The morning will also feature praise and worship with Colleen Reinders and Grace Moses, a service opportunity, a "mom talk" session, giveaways and refreshments. It is designed to open dialogue between moms and their daughters about how each one of us can be activists in the world, girls will see that even small acts can lead to lasting change.
