Bussey pair facing several charges

Knoxville — Two Bussey residents are charged in a pair of thefts in Otley and Pella on April 5 and April 11.

According to court documents, Randall Craig Reed, 41, and Mandy Lynn Reed, 36, worked together to break in and steal items from a location near Otley on April 5. The pair is also accused of doing the same thing near a Pella address on April 11.

Total value of items stolen is between $1,000-10,000. They include car parts, copper wire and other items.

The suspects allegedly removed items from a shed, as well as a junk vehicle, without the property owner's permission. Both have been charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, two counts of trespass, possession of burglary tools, second-degree theft and ongoing criminal conduct.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Randall Reed on April 18 at 9:30 a.m. No hearing, as of this post, had yet been scheduled for Mandy Reed.
