---- — The Pella Historical Society & Museum will be hosting another fun fall themed event, “Costumes, Pumpkins and Candy, Oh My!,” Thursday October 24, 6-8 p.m.
“We want to provide a safe, fun and tasty experience for the Pella kids and their families during the Halloween season by hosting “Costumes, Pumpkins and Candy, Oh My!” Reaching out to the community and the younger generation is a big part of our current mission at the Museum and by hosting an event like this we hope to offer a lot of excitement and fun to the community,” Museum Visitor Services Coordinator, Carly Caligiuri.
This spooky fall event includes activities, such as a costume contest, pumpkin carving contest, cookie decorating and more! There will be candy and treats for anyone dressed up, as well as a prize for the winning costumes and the winning pumpkins! Come and join the fun at our ‘Boo-tiful’ Historical Village! Families $5, individuals $2 and all members are free!
“We are so impressed and excited to see the numbers coming in from the Fall Festival, and we are just overwhelmed by the positive feedback we have received from the community. We are especially excited for the upcoming events especially the ‘Costumes, Pumpkins and Candy, Oh My!’ night because of the great connections to the community we are making. I just cannot wait to see what the future holds for the Pella Historical Society & Museum,” said Pella Historical Executive Board President, Randy Sikkema.
