Audit report released for PCSD

---- — Van Maanen, Sietstra & Meyer, PC, Certified Public Accountants today released an audit report on the Pella Community School District in Pella, Iowa.

The District’s revenues totaled $27,394,928 for the year ended June 30, 2013, a 2.42 percent increase from the prior year. Revenues included $12,176,769 in local tax; charges for service of $2,646,900; operating grants, contributions and restricted interest of $3,213,608; unrestricted interest of $83,471; and other general revenues of $9,274,180.

Expenses for District operations totaled $25,536,200, a 6.02 percent increase from the prior year. Expenses included $16,036,643 for instruction, $6,600,180 for support services, $1,274,235 for non-instructional programs, and $1,625,142 for other expenditures.
