Marion County faces moderate weather risk tomorrow

Marion County — The National Weather Service held a conference call this afternoon to discuss possible storm activity Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Slides from the NWS (see related files) indicate that Marion County is in the moderate risk area. Marion County Emergency Management Coordinator Jeff Anderson wrote, "Please take this opportunity to review your plan of action at work, and at home.  Don’t assume that your coworkers and family know what to do when severe weather occurs.  Talk through the plan progression together, so that you can achieve a safe environment during these situations."

We are expecting more information tomorrow.
