December 30 Work Systems Fitness & Rehab Men's Basketball League Registration Deadline

Sign up by December 30 for Men's Basketball League at Work Systems Rehab & Fitness! Games will  be Wednesday nights starting January 45 through March. Contact Darren at darrenm@worksystemspc.com or phone 641-780-6421.





December 30- January 3 City of Pella Christmas Tree Pickup

Christmas trees will be picked up on regular garbage days from December 30 through January 3. Two additional days for pick up will be offered on January 8 and 15. Trees must be placed at the curb by 7:00 am on pick up day. All trees must be able to go through the chipper which means they must be unwrapped, free from plastic bags, wire, nails and stands. Trees that do not meet these requirements WILL NOT be picked up. Christmas wreaths and roping with wire will be collected as normal household waste if placed within a closed tote. Please contact the Pella Public Works Department at 628-1601 for more information.





December 31 Work Systems Rehab & Fitness presents New Years Eve Families Play Together

Work Systems Rehab & Fitness invites you to join them for games, snacks, movies and more on New Year's Eve! 5-9 pm. Free to members, $10 for non-member families. Reservations preferred to lizc@worksystemspc.com or phone 641-628-4622.





December 31 Pella Opera House's New Years Eve Party!

This is a party you will not want to miss! Each guest will enjoy live music provided by the Fred Gazzo Band, dancing, two complimentary beverages, a cash bar, appetizers and sumptuous desserts, party favors, and a countdown to midnight followed by Auld Lang Syne! 8 pm at the Pella Opera House, $30/ ticket.

January 5 Pella Public Library presents Downton Abbey Tea
The Pella Public Library would like to extend a cordial invitation to all fans of Downton Abbey. Please join us for afternoon tea at 2 pm in the Pella Public Library Meeting Room. The final episode of Season 3 will be shown, fine teas will be brewed, and enlightened conversation shall be encouraged. Casual dress is acceptable. Please bring your favorite teacup to the party. See the beautiful Christmas displays in our 20+ buildings, including complimentary coffee time in the Dutch Bakery. For more information visit www.pellatuliptime.com. Open Monday-Saturday, 9 am - 5 pm. Admission $10 adults, $6 students age 12 and up, $2 students aged 5-11. Group rates available. Also closed Christmas day.    

  

 

December 19 - January 7 Registration for Pella Aquatic Center Winter Programs

December 9- January 7 Chimera Paintings Art Showcase   

Enjoy unique works of art by Pella native artist Ryan Bentzinger. At the Joan Kuyper Farver Art Gallery, hours are Monday-Friday from 7:15 am to 4:15 pm. A closing reception will be held January 7 from 5-8 pm.  

 

 

Thursday Night Bingo

**PLEASE NOTE: No BINGO on December 26 January 2.

Have fun playing Bingo! Proceeds benefit St. Mary's Catholic Church. Children 10-17 welcome with an adult. It is held every Thursday from 6:30-8:30 pm at 1203 Peace Street (old church).
