Jack Dylan Konz, 18, of Clive, is already facing a charge of first-degree robbery, but as he sat in the Marion County Jail, awaiting trial, he has accumulated more charges.
According to court records, during a routine search of his cell at the jail on March 16, jail staff discovered three white pills identified as Tramadol, which is used in pain relief, according to drugs.com. The pills were allegedly hidden in a salt container under his mattress. Konz allegedly admitted to not having a prescription for the medication. He has been charged with possession of contraband and unlawful possession of a prescription drug.
The case at the jail remains under investigation.
