Trust & Truth Conference to make stop in Pella

Pella — The Hope of Survivors will host a Trust & Truth Seminar at the Pella Community Center’s Joan Farver Auditorium, located at 712 Union Street Pella, IA, on Monday, April 22, 2013, from 7:00pm-9:00pm. The conference will be presented by Pastor Steve & Samantha Nelson, co-founders and directors of The Hope of Survivors.

The purpose of this conference is to discuss how clergy sexual abuse affects the church and the entire community, and how to survive the aftermath. The conference is open to all church leaders, church members, and community members. Topics Include: What is clergy sexual abuse? How does this happen? Is there an imbalance? Why is this abuse & not an affair? How could this happen in our church? What should we do? Who can we trust? How do we come together? And much more! This is a conference from which everyone will receive an educational benefit. Don’t miss it!
