Lots of fun scheduled at PCGS Spring Fling

Make plans now to join us on Saturday, April 5 for Pella Christian Grade School’s Spring Fling 2014 Fundraiser. This year the event will take place at the Pella Christian High School. Event organizers are excited to bring Dairyland Donkey Basketball as the entertainment for the evening. Yes, you heard it – you will witness teams playing basketball on donkeys. Who will be riding these donkeys? None other than your very own Pella Christian Grade School staff, parents and alumni.

There is no doubt that the evening will be filled with much laughter and entertainment. There will be concessions available (popcorn, pizza, chips, cookies, bologna sandwiches, candy and drinks), silent auction items, prize drawings and a gift certificate booth that includes a wide variety of certificates from local businesses. Doors will open at 5:30pm, with the Donkey Basketball games to begin at 7 p.m.

You must purchase a ticket to attend this event. Tickets are $6 in advance, or $8 at the door. Tickets may be purchased at the Pella Christian Grade School office or at The Sanctuary Bookstore. There will even be an opportunity for kids (12 & under) to get a free ride on a donkey (the first 125 kids through the door).

This event is sponsored by the PCGS Partners In Education (PIE). Money raised from this event will go towards books for classrooms and other teacher requests. This is guaranteed to be an evening you will not want to miss. For more information, please contact the PCGS office at 641-628-2414.
