Pella — June 26 Thursdays in Pella: Chip In

See how you can "Chip In" by volunteering at one of these great community organizations sharing their missions with you. Navigate a mini-golf course and learn about area non-profits, ride a P.E.T, and more! Also pony rides, Second Chance Dog Rescue of Iowa, Tom Terriffic and Baby Boer Goats to pet held over from last week. Downtown Pella. Food vendors, entertainment and  activities start at 6 pm and conclude with a city band performance at 8 pm.



June 27 Pella Community Art Center presents Toddler Art Class

We will be doing a variety of age appropriate art activities that you wouldn't normally undertake at home!  After we make a watercolor masterpiece we will make a ribbon necklace, personalize a picture holder and special mobiles, for ages 2 & up, caregiver is required to attend the class with the child, from 9-10 am, $6 resident, $7 non-resident, pre-registration is required at the Pella Community Center or call 641.628.4571 for more information.



June 27 Pella Community Art Center presents Monster Posters Class

Who doesn't like a good monster?  A glop of paint can be turned into a wonderful monster.  Let's take it one step farther and make a monster poster, for ages 5 & up, from 10:30-11:30 am, fee $6 resident, $7 non-resident, pre-registration is required at the Pella Community Center or call 641.628.4571 for more information. 



June 27 Pella Garden Club's Summer Party

Enjoy this Downton Abbey-themed party complete with an English luncheon served by butlers! There will also be Garden Boutiques including the new line of Downton Abbey, tickets available for a drawing, and some silent auction items. Proceeds raised will be used in Pella for city beautification and horticulture scholarships. This event will be located at Central College's Graham Conference Center from 11 am to 2 pm.
