Pella — October 12-13 The Art of Thinking Brilliantly

October 13 Pella Christian Eagle Football Pancake Breakfast

Support the Pella Christian football team by eating breakfast!  Serving pancakes, sausage, cinnamon rolls, and beverages- a freewill donation is accepted. From 7-10 am at the High School.






October 13 Pella in Pink 2 Mile Run/Walk

Join Young Professionals for the 4th annual Pella in Pink 2 Mile Run/Walk! All Proceeds Benefit Breast Cancer Recovery at Pella Regional Health Center. Register before September 28 to be guaranteed a T-shirt! Meet at West Market Park at 8 am for stretches and T-shirt pick up. Run/ walk will take place following. Cost is $20 per person if pre-registered/ day of $25. Registration forms are available at pellahealth.org, and also available for pick up/drop off at the Pella Regional Health Center Information Desk (Main Entrance) or to the Chamber of Commerce. Early pick-up for t-shirts will be Friday October 12 from 9 am - 5 pm at the Chamber of Commerce office boardroom (lower level entrance).





October 13 Free Family Fun Fall Fest

This is an opportunity for families to get out to a farm setting and enjoy a variety of activities, some of which will include pumpkin painting, mini pumpkin launch, carnival games, horse back riding, hay rack rides, see kittens, big bale slide, bean and corn sandboxes, wheelbarrow races, and a train ride. Food and beverages will be available at minimal fees. The fest will be held at the Tim and Sharon Van Roekel farm, 2414 Illinois Street, Pella, from 10 am to 4 pm. Rain date will be Saturday, October 20.  Sponsored by First Reformed Church of Pella, with volunteer support by Trinity Reformed Church, Pella.
