Have fun playing Bingo! Proceeds benefit St. Mary's Catholic Church. Children 10-17 welcome with an adult. It is held every Thursday from 6:30-9 pm at 1203 Peace Street (old church). Game prices range from $0.50 to 2.00 a game or $17 for a game packet. For more information contact Peggy Moriarity at 641-628-1549.

December 7 Festive Whimsy and Fine Art
"Festive Whimsy and Fine Art" is a holiday event for all tastes! From 10 am to 8 pm at the Pella Memorial Building. Artwork will be for sale from local artists, as well as art demonstrations, a gingerbread house competition, and reception from 5-8 pm. Enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of the season while shopping for the perfect gift of art. Sponsored by Red Rock Arts Alliance and art 101. December 7 Central College presents Christmas Candlelight Concert

A Christmas concert featuring A Cappella Choir, Chamber Singers, College Community Orchestra and Handbells. 8 pm at Douwstra Auditorium. Tickets: $10; $8 Senior Citizens; Students FREE w/Central ID. 

December 8 Families First presents Family Gingerbread House Making

Parents, Mentors, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles: Celebrate the season by creating a gingerbread house with your child! All supplies provided, no mess to clean up, come in your PJ's! Children ages preschool through fifth welcome, must be accompanied by an adult. 9 am to noon at Trinity Reformed Church. Cost is $6 per house, proceeds benefit Families First. Registrations required. December 8 Journey Bound Concert

Hear the sounds of Journey Bound, a Christian quartet, as they sing holiday songs. Will have new CD available. 6:30 pm at Pella Christian High School, call 641-625-4471 with questions.

December 9 Annual Scholte House Tea and Musical Program

The annual Scholte House Tea and Musical Program will be held December 9 at 2 pm. Call Iris at 628-2400 for no charge reservations.
