Ervin Mathes- Death Notice

Pella — Ervin Mathes, 95, of Pella, IA passed away Tuesday morning at Jefferson Place in Pella. Ervin, husband of the late Johanna M. (Van Roekel) Mathes, is survived by two children and their spouses: Janice and Walter D. Graham, Verlan and Connie Mathes all of Pella; one grandson, Darvin Graham and his wife, Allison of Toledo, IA; three step-grandsons: Jeff, Paul and Tim Prangler; and two sisters: Evelyn (Arie) Beyer and Edith and her husband, Irvin Huyser all of Pella.

Visitation will begin Thursday after noon at Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home where the family will be present Thursday from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 12, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at First Reformed Church, Pella, Iowa.

Interment will follow in the Graceland Cemetery at Pella, Iowa with military rites.

For those desiring, memorials may be designated for the First Reformed Church in Pella, Iowa.
