Wilma Doidge

Pella — Wilma Doidge (nee Huisman), age 97 of Fort Wayne, IN, died Thursday, January 9, 2014. Born in Oskaloosa, Iowa November 12, 1916, Wilma lived in Lansing, Illinois for over 60 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Henry Doidge, and her daughter, Helen Jerie VanDyke. She is survived by her son, Fred of Phoenix, Arizona and her daughters, Judy (Tom) Mallett of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Carol (Wayne) Couwenhoven of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Wilma also leaves a rich family legacy of 14 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Wilma’s Life and Faith was held on Friday, January 17, 2014  at First Reformed Church in Lansing, IL. 

Wilma was laid to rest at Oakridge Cemetery following the Celebration.
