Brenda Whitten- Death Notice

Pella — Brenda Lea (Petersma) Whitten, 54, of Pella, IA, passed away May 11, 2012, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. Brenda was a merchanise supervisor at Wal-Mart in Pella at the time of her death. She is survived by her three children: Misty L. Yeager and her husband, Joshua, of Grinnell, IA, Nathan E. Whtten and his wife, Nikki, of Sulley, IA, Jessica D. Utterback and her husband, Jerret, of Otley, IA; six grandchildren: Devin Bass, Chase Yeager, Kora Yeager, Riley Oldham, B'Lana Utterback, and D'Lyla Utterback; her father, Leonard Petersma, of Pella, IA; and three sisters: Kimberly Butler of Las Vegas, NV, Peggy Reed of Grand Island, NB, and Tami Ambrose of Gravity, IA. She was preceded in death by her mother, Janet (Morris) Petersma.

Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Pella, Iowa.

Inurnment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery at Pella, Iowa.
