Got questions? ‘Ask the Corp’ is your answer

Pella — Do you have something that you’ve always wanted to ask the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in regard to Lake Red Rock? The Pella Chronicle and Knoxville Journal-Express are offering you the opportunity to have your question answered.

“Ask the Corps” is a new feature coming to the papers. Everyone is invited to submit fair, tactful, sensible questions to the Corps via e-mail (, mail (Red Rock Lake Association, P.O. Box 292, Pella, IA, 50219) or via the website,

All question submissions will be reviewed by members of the Red Rock Lake Association. Selected questions will be forwarded to the Corps of Engineers, who will prepare complete, detailed answers in the form of a weekly column that will be available in both newspapers, as well as the websites and

Help is needed to make this a success, so don’t be shy about submitting your questions. You can remain anonymous when submitting questions if you so choose.
