Awards announced for Pella

The Pella High Little Dutch varsity boys’ basketball team finished the season with a final mark of 19 wins and just 4 losses.

The Dutch had two streaks that included seven games each during the year. Pella was unbeaten in non-conference play.

Pella scored more than 70 points in 16 games and they exceeded the 80 point level five times this past year.

Clayberg was named to the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association Academic All-State Team.

Naaktgeboren was named to the Iowa Newspaper Association (INA) second-team all-state squad in Class 3A.

As for other individual accolades, Seth Johnson finished among the top 10 in 3A in assists and Naaktgeboren was top 10 in 3A in rebounding.
