Pella High 3rd at PCM

A score of 91 by PCM’s Maddie Peters carried the Mustangs to a win at the PCM Golf Invitational Thursday, April 25.

The 18-hole tournament at the Gateway Recreation Course saw the PCM Mustangs shoot a team score of 403 to win by 28 shots over their nearest challenger.

The Albia Lady Dees were a distant second to Val Edwards’ PCM squad. Albia shot a 431.

Pella was third in the team scoring with a 450. The Knoxville Panthers were eighth at 543.

Pella Christian sent two golfers to the meet as they were short-handed due to a senior trip.

It was a nice sunny day, but wind caused some havoc with the play on the course.

Paige Van Dyke of South Tama was meet medalist with an 87.
