---- — MONMOUTH, ILL.-Forward Alayna Bailey scored two goals as the Central College women’s soccer won its third straight game Wednesday Sept. 17, 3-1 over Monmouth (Ill.).

The Dutch and the Fighting Scots (3-2) were scoreless at halftime. The two teams tied in first-period shots (5-5), but Monmouth led in shots on goal (5-2) and corner kicks (2-1).

The Dutch responded nearly four minutes later, as Bailey scored off of a corner kick by midfielder Emily Saville.

Bailey led the offensive attack with five shots, four shots on goal and two goals. Lunardi made 10 saves, the most in any of her four starts.
