Hoekstra – Barbara

Sharilyne Rae Hoekstra and Mathew Anthony Barbara are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. Sharilyne is the daughter of Greg and Verla Hoekstra of Pella. Mathew is the son of Sam Barbara and Christine Barbara of Sidney, Australia. Sharilyne is a 2003 graduate of Pella High School, 2007 graduate of Central College and is a pre-school teacherin Fermont, Iowa. Mathew graduated from high school in 2002 in Sidney, Australia and is a racecar mechanic for Vermeer Motor Sports. He is currently on tour with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. A November 15 wedding is planned at Trinity Reformed Church.
