Van Zanten - Top

Pella — Jana Gale Van Zanten and John Travis Top were married on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at the Calvary Christian Reformed Church, Pella. Pastor Todd Zylstra officiated the service. The bride's parents are Dennis and Arla Van Zanten, Pella. The bride's grandparents are Frank and Caroline Vander Woude, Chandler, MN, and Vern and Geneva Van Zanten, Pella. The groom's parents are  John and Evonne Top, Luverne, MN. The groom's grandparent is Jennie Van Essen, Edgerton, MN. The Matron of Honor was Jody Dooyema and Bridesmaids were Tianna Top, sister of the groom, Tosha VanZee , sister of the groom, Katie Riggen, friend of the bride, Alaina Bandstra, friend of the bride, Carrie Vande Kamp, friend of the bride. Best Man was Andrew Top, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were, Matt Van Zee, brother-in-law of the groom, Scott Van Zanten, brother of the bride, Shane Dooyema, brother-in-law of the bride, Cody Top, cousin of the groom, Dustin Smeins, friend of the groom. Flower Girl was Erin Dooyema, niece of the bride. Ringer Bearers were Ethan and Braden Van Zee, nephews of the groom. The bride's personal attendants were Kendra Broekhuis and Brittany Kooiker, friends of the bride. Ushers were Blake Wieking and Mark De Younge, friends of the groom. The reception was held at the Central College Graham Center, Pella. The bride is a graduate of Pella Christian High School and Dordt College. Beginning this fall, Jana will be teaching Spanish at Southwest Minnesota Christian High School in Edgerton, MN. The groom is a graduate of Southwest Minnesota Christian High School and Northwestern College in Orange City. John is employed as a teacher and coach at Southwest Minnesota Christian High School in Edgerton, MN. The couple will reside in Edgerton, MN.
