Crawford – Kopaska

Pella — On Friday, July 27, 2012 Laura Crawford, daughter of Steve and Francie Crawford of Fredericksburg, IA was united in marriage to Jim Kopaska, the son of Al and Barb Kopaska, of Pella, IA. The ceremony was held ocean side in Kapau, Kauia, Hawaii.  A reception was held September 1, 2012 in Fredericksburg at the Engelbrecht Family Winery and Vineyards.

The Maid of Honor was Leslie Crawford, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Shannon Cook, Kattie Hamann, Linda Saron, Lindsay Hol and Jinger Rizzi all friends of the bride. Flower girl was Ellen Broek, niece of the groom.

The best man was Jerry Fairbank, friend of the groom. The groomsmen were Jeff Kopaska, brother of the groom, Mark Nunnikhoven, Isaac Nunnikhoven, Andy Kohler and Geoff Kohler, friends of the groom. Junior groomsman was Tristan Wright, nephew of the bride.

Laura graduated from University of Northern Iowa and is employed with the Merrick Law Firm in Omaha, Nebraska.

Jim graduated from Iowa State University with a BS in Electrical Engineering and from the University of Iowa with a Master in Business Administration. He is employed with the Ariens Corporation of Auburn, Nebraska.

A honeymoon was taken in Tahiti and the Polynesian Islands and the couple will reside in Nebraska City, Nebraska.
