AMES — More than 2,200 graduates received degrees from Iowa State University in December, including eight Pella students.

Commencement ceremonies were held Dec. 20 (graduate) and 21 (undergraduate).

Students who received their degrees are Jared Alcorn, Bachelor of Arts, Criminal Justice Studies, Cum Laude; Michael Bishop, Master of Science, Information Systems; Travis Dingeman, Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering, Summa Cum Laude; Molly Howard, Bachelor of Science, Public Relations; Karah Lyons, Bachelor of Arts, Psychology and Women’s Studies; Tiffany Olson, Bachelor of Arts, History and Political Science, Cum Laude; Tiffany Olson, Bachelor of Arts, Political Science, Cum Laude; Andrew Pavlat, Bachelor of Science, Kinesiology and Health; and Laurel Stelter, Bachelor of Science, Community and Regional Planning and Environmental Studies, Magna Cum Laude.

Jose Rosa, professor of marketing, and John and Deborah Ganoe, faculty fellow in the Ivy College of Business, spoke at the graduate ceremony. Alumnus Daniel Houston, chairman, president and CEO of Des Moines-based Principal Financial Group, gave the undergraduate address.
