February (American Heart Month) is traditionally the month for showing your love and all things heart-related. It is also the perfect time to talk about living a heart-healthy lifestyle, so the Pella Public Library invites you to attend the program "Eating and Cooking Tips to Keep Your Heart Strong."
The program will be held Monday, Feb. 10 at 6:30 p.m.
Cathy Pollock, RD/LD Education Dietitian at Pella Regional Health Center, will answer questions like: what does eating heart healthy look like? How can you make simple changes to your eating habits? Are there ways to make your current recipes healthier? All of this and more about heart health will be discussed, and samples will be shared.
This program is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome. Please call the library at 641-628-4268 if you have questions about this or other upcoming library events.
