Deputies responded to 23 calls, including two paper service attempts, two extra patrols, two incomplete 911 calls, two return calls, one deer in the roadway, one suspicious activity, one harassment, one controlled burn, one accident, one escort, one dispute, one motorist assist, one suspicious person, one vehicle inspection, one transport, one alarm and three other calls.

The communications center fielded 131 calls including 30 911. The jail is currently holding 17.

Kevin Jacob Carlton, 39, of Knoxville, was charged with fifth-degree theft.

Wednesday, Oct. 2

Deputies responded to 33 calls, including six return calls, six reckless drivers, five paper service attempts, three motorist assists, three weather reports, two vehicle inspections, two informational reports, one assault, one unlicensed driver, one vehicle unlock, one transport and two other calls.

The communications center fielded 120 calls including 18 911. The jail is currently holding 19.

Becky Lee Zimmerline, 49, of New Virginia, was held for another agency.

Nichole Rae Anna Speirs, 29, of Knoxville, was charged with controlled substance violation, two counts of child endangerment, no injury, unlawful possession of prescription drug and possession of a controlled substance.

Thursday, Oct. 3

Deputies responded to 33 calls, including nine paper service attempts, two deer, two return calls, two motorist assists, one rescue, one accident, one transport, one illegal dump, one agency assist and one harassment.

The communications center fielded 95 calls, including 16 to 911. The jail is currently holding 18.

No one was booked in jail.

Friday, Oct. 4

Deputies responded to 25 calls, including one residential alarm, three motorist assists, one meet subject, one return call, one livestock in the roadway, one incomplete 911, one reckless driver, one criminal mischief, three transports, two dogs at large, one fraud, two paper service attempts, one suspicious person, one domestic, one structural fire, one accident and three other calls.

The communications center fielded 94 calls, including 27 to 911. The jail is currently holding 20.

Collin Michael O’Brien, 20, of Knoxville, was charged with interference with official acts, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of alcohol under age.

Shane Christian Sylvester, 31, of Knoxville, was charged with violation of a restraining order.

Zachary Joseph Smith, 22, of Des Moines, with violation of probation.

Awo Ahmed Abdalla Kowa, 44, of Knoxville, was charged with OWI, third offense.

Saturday, Oct. 5

Deputies responded to 34 calls, including twelve paper service attempts, two motorist assists, two livestock in the roadway, two vehicle unlocks, two agency assists, one wanted person check, one extra patrol, one follow up, one deer, one accident, one found item, one vehicle inspection, one illegal dump, one fraud, one criminal mischief, one incomplete 911, one rescue, one cat and one transport.

The communications center fielded 111 calls, including 17 to 911. The jail is currently holding 37.Rodney Jerome Nevels, 39, of Pleasantville, was charged with fraud.

Joseph William Willemsen, 46, of Pella, was charged with violation of pretrial release.

Darwin Keith McCombs, 57, of Des Moines, was served a judgment entry.

Justin Joe Pettyjohn, 34, of Hamilton, was served a judgment entry.

Caleb Jesse Lee, 24, of Knoxville, was charged with failure to appear.

Amanda Lee Reed, 30, of Bussey, was charged with trespassing and third-degree harassment.

Shannon Marie Wilson, 40, of Knoxville, was charged with assault with injury.

Paula Jean Jones, 38, of Melcher-Dallas, was charged with simple assault.

Deputies responded to 15 calls, including three motorist assists, two deer, two vehicle unlocks, two agency assists, one dispute, one meet subject, one disturbing peace and quiet, one suspicious vehicle, one criminal mischief and one suspicious activity.

The communications center fielded 76 calls, including 13 to 911. The jail is currently holding 34.

Brianna Lynn Rominger, 20, of Melcher, was charged with simple assault.
