The Funky Zebras celebrate new location with Dutch Greeters

Dutch Greeters welcomed co-owners Lindsay Stout and Vickie Van Wyk of The Funky Zebras to their new location.

Dutch Greeters welcomed The Funky Zebras of Pella to their new store location with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Sept. 11.

Originally, co-owners Vickie Van Wyk and Lindsay Stout weren’t interested in moving to their current location when approached by the building’s landlord. However, once Stout stepped foot in the door, she was sold.

“It’s just a beautiful, beautiful space,” said Van Wyk. “The space allows us to do what we kind of weren’t allowed to do before.”

More space has allowed Van Wyk and Stout to include spirit wear, children’s doll clothes and additional options for plus-size clothing. Natural lighting, exposed brick, expansive windows and easy accessibility for strollers and wheelchairs make it the perfect space for small-town shopping.

“The silver lining that we didn’t know would be so awesome is the beautiful view out the front,” added Van Wyk. “I think year round, it’s going to be so pretty.”

The business is now located at 818 Main Street.
