Matchups have been established for the postseason baseball tournament trail for teams in Iowa.

Records listed are as of Monday, July 8.

Class 1A

The Class 1A District Baseball Tournament pits the Twin Cedars Sabers (12-11) against the Seymour Warriors (6-17) at 5 p.m. in Moravia Saturday, July 13,

The Sabers beat the Warriors twice during the regular season, 7-2 and 14-1.

Also in 1A District 12 with the TC Sabers are the Melcher-Dallas Saints. The Saints (6-20) face off against the Moravia Mohawks (16-10) at 7 p.m. July 13 in Moravia. The two teams split during the regular season.

Class 2A

In Class 2A District baseball action the Pella Christian Eagles (13-12) will be at home in the first round of the tournament as they face Union, La Porte City (3-18-1).

The game at PC will have first pitch at 7 p.m.

The winner of the PC vs Union game will then face PCM (Monroe) Tuesday, July 16 in State Center at 5 p.m.

Also in Class 2A, the Pleasantville Trojans (14-16) take on the Colfax-Mingo Tiger-Hawks (8-10) in a game slated for 5 p.m. in Madrid.

The winner will then face Woodward-Granger (20-7), who picked up a first round bye.

Class 3A

Over in Class 3A, the Pella High Little Dutch (9-17) take on Solon (17-12-2) in a game at 5 p.m. Friday, July 19 at 5 p.m. in Oskaloosa.

The first round district winner will then face the winner of the Oskaloosa vs Nevada contest Monday, July 22 in Oskaloosa at 7 p.m.

In Class 3A District 13 play, the Knoxville Panthers (8-24) travel to Alleman to face the North Polk Comets (20-4) at 7 p.m. Friday, July 19.

The Comets are currently ranked No. 9 in Class 3A.

The winner then tackles the winner of a first round game between Carlisle and Norwalk.
