The Pella Christian Eagles put it all together as they knocked off the Oskaloosa Indians at home June 17 by the final of 6-4.
A four-run third inning gave the Eagles a 4-3 lead. The Indians tied the softball game up in the fourth.
It remained tied until the bottom of the sixth when PC tacked on two more runs to win 6-4.
Cheyanne Collins earned the pitching win going all seven frames. She gave up nine hits and four runs, two of which were earned.
Chloe Morgan and Danielle Vande Voort each had three hits for PC, while Collins and Sierra Pleima each rapped two hits.
One of the hits by Collins was a home run as she drove in three runs.
The loss dropped Oskaloosa to 11-9 overall. Suffering the loss in the circle for the Indians was Hayle Hacker, who gave up nine hits and six runs, four of them earned.
Hacker struck out six and walked nobody.
Oskaloosa had a home run off the bat of Maddie Haines.
