The Two Rivers Conference Bowling Tournament was held Saturday at Val Lanes in Norwalk.

Top honors went to the Newton girls’ who won the team title with a score of 2,260 and the Bondurant-Farrar boys with a total of 2,853 pins.

The boys chase for the team title was very close as Newton was second to B-F, just 10 pins behind at 2,843.

Knoxville was fifth in both the boys and girls team scoring.

The Pella Christian boys were sixth at 2,549 while the PC girls were eighth at 1,734.

Pella was seventh in team scoring for both the boys and the girls.

The Lady Dutch rolled a 1,815 team score while the Pella boys squad closed at 2,456.

The top score of the tournament for varsity girls was turned in by Abby Price of Newton with a 360 two-game series. Hannah Anderson of Sigourney was a close second at 359.

Showing the way as the top individual score for the boys was Blaine Adams of B-F with a 437 two-game series. Newton’s Ben Zeien was runner-up as a scoring leader with a 429.

All-Conference

Pella’s Matthew DeJong was named to the all-conference first team while Reid Miller was a second team selection for the Dutch.

Honorable Mention picks for the Lady Dutch were Sierra Vander Weerdt and Maranda Verschuure.

PC had no first or second team picks, however the Honorable Mention list included Alayna Van Kooten for the girls and Devin Haveman, Austin Van Kooten and Blake Veenstra on the boys side.
